It happens.
I also have dropped off a year from my 12th class. But I hope I did decision because I had reasons.

The reasons are many, some good and some bad. But I hope its not at all bad here.

Mistakes happen and what better it is to get them solved.

I hope you might have learnt many things for the coming time, that should solve the problem.

That’s all good… but there’s one thing I don’t understand… what are you apologizing for?
From my perspective, you should get apologies from whoever pushed you to do chemical engineering… and if it was you yourself who chose to do chemical engg, then you’ve come out of this with the knowledge of something that I’m jealous of… you’ve realized where your passion lies, and now you’ve got a chance to go for it.

I, on the other hand, have taken Electronic and Communication Engineering, when I should probably have taken Computer Science & Engineering, and now I feel it’s too late for me to change.

I do applaud your decision… you’ve learnt something new about yourself, and used it to your advantage. *thumbs up*
